A.J. Oishi is a self-taught abstract pointillist painter who has garnered significant recognition for her unique and meticulous approach to the medium. Originally from Seattle, Oishi’s professional background in roles demanding organization and precise analysis has greatly influenced her artistic process. 

Her paintings are created using the eraser end of a No. 2 pencil, meticulously applying thousands of dots in specific color combinations to create mesmerizing and meditative works.
