Launched in 2008, Katherine was immediately recognized and celebrated for her creativity and innovative designs as she was named Couture Designer of the Year that same year. As a graduate gemologist, Katherine excels at one-of-a-kind, custom pieces for her discerning clientele as she explores groundbreaking manufacturing techniques. Her collections feature only the finest materials and are expertly crafted to her high standards.
Katherine’s earlier collections feature an array of opals in honor of Australia, her birthplace. She is considered responsible for re-introducing opals to the luxury jewelry market and continues to include unique and important opals in her repertoire.
Opening The Vault Nantucket in 2016, Katherine intimately curates couture jewelry and joyfully celebrates the designers who live, breathe and create it as she weaves together a world of aesthetic influences that transcend the trend cycle. She is also an avid supporter of several charities — including Horizons for Homeless Children in Boston, The Nantucket Historical Association and the Nantucket Boys and Girls Club.
