Known for using a wide range of organic materials, Fonder is inspired by nature and possesses a love for all things outdoors. With an artistic process that is extremely physical, she seeks to provide opportunities to ground and create a calm and tranquil environment through her work.

 

Born in 1963 in Corvallis, Oregon and currently based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Fonder aspires for her art to honor Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous words: “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
