Kathleen Hope’s work can best be described as an organic fusion of life itself. Hope mixes cements from an array of materials, including dried pigments, paper, plaster and marble dust to create textured layers and unexpected details. Based in Fountain Hills, Arizona, Kathleen’s background is in interior design and color psychology. She uses her knowledge, both learned and instinctive, to create “lived in” pieces that have been described as organic, raw and industrial, yet warm and inviting.
