KEVIN IRVIN

While some people spend their entire lives finding purpose and passion, artists like Kevin Irvin know they were born to create. A native of the small town of Fort Branch, Indiana, Irvin grew up learning the more practical side of building and fixing things. His imaginative nature took those skills and turned them into the creation of innovative, yet beautifully functional furniture designs, unique decorative items and more.

Irvin is most widely known for his distinct work in wood. He artfully combines colors, textures, clean lines and surprising details to create inspirational and conversational statement pieces, Christmas ornaments, tables, storage pieces and more. He doesn’t limit his mind and hands to a single medium, however, and sometimes explores other creative avenues.

Collectors from New York to Los Angeles and abroad display his work, including the McDonalds Corporation, Neutrogena, Cole Taylor Financial Group, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, The Nelson Fine Art Center, ASU, Evansville Museum of Art and Sciences and the Indiana Art Museum.
