Jennyfer Stratman: Bronze Artist
Jennyfer Stratman is a Phoenix-born sculptor working in bronze, steel, and mixed media, known for genderless, faceless figures that emerge from or intertwine with branches and plant forms - meditations on the porous boundary between human and natural. She began at Arizona State University as a ceramicist before the school’s foundry redirected her practice toward metal entirely; the delicacy stayed. Stratman graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in 1997 and has since shown work in more than 34 solo exhibitions and 100-plus group exhibitions across the United States, England, and Australia, with pieces held in public, corporate, and private collections worldwide. She divides her time between studios in Phoenix and Melbourne, Australia.
